For more than 145 years, Venchi has been
making now-iconic products that embody
creativity and all-Italian expertise.

The recipe has stayed the same since 1905:
chopped Piedmont Hazelnuts set with
caramelised sugar and enrobed in pure dark

chocolate. Inspired by tales of travel and
adventure by writer Emilio Salgari, Silviano
Venchi was the brain behind the Nougatine's
iconic wrapper. Salgari himself loved to

snack on one while recounting mysterious
adventures at literary gatherings in Turin.

Each Nougatine tells a sweet story: the

journey that brought exquisite, exotic
cocoa and crunchy Piedmont Hazelnuts
together.
